This is a call to the other side of the aisle:
STOP THE EXPLOITATION!
(More below the Fold)
A call to those who try to convince black men that they have no reason to support Social Security due to lower life expectancy, without actually bothering to worry about the reasons for said lower life expectancy.
A call to those who stick up purple fingers as if your solidarity meant something to those who actually voted in Iraq, in dangerous situations YOU helped create by pushing the misguided war which has sunk the region into such chaos.
A call to those who want to take away a safety net for seniors because they believe somehow that risky investments in EXCHANGE for Social SEcurity (rather than just on top of it) is better than having a guarantee, since it will line their pockets better.
A call to those who brow beat those against a candidate because of his race, trying to take the genuine questions of his ability, his ethical stance, and his willingness to actually support the law he'd be sworn to uphold in a new office, off the table.
This is a call...
STOP THE EXPLOITATION!
Stop exploiting people's fear of terrorist attacks to inflate support for a misguided war!
Stop exploiting those who actually risk their lives in Iraq (soldiers and civilians) just to score some political power points!
Stop exploiting black men by saying they won't get SS since they'll die anyways!
Stop exploiting race when it suits you and distract people from genuine concerns about a person, just because they're a 'favored minority' that actually supports the right side.
Stop exploiting America, goddammit, because for those of us who see that we're being exploited, we're damn sick of it, and we WON'T take it.
(If you're looking for a lot of coherency, look elsewhere. This was mostly a vent, against a lot of crap I've been seeing and hearing).
